Inclusive GST Calculator
A GST-inclusive price already contains the tax. This calculator splits any inclusive amount into its base value and GST, and can also work the other way (exclusive → inclusive). Switch modes, pick a rate, and read the full CGST/SGST or IGST breakdown instantly.
Formula
Inclusive → base: Base = Amount × 100 ÷ (100 + Rate).
Exclusive → total: Total = Amount × (1 + Rate ÷ 100).
Example: ₹1,180 inclusive of 18% GST → base ₹1,000, GST ₹180. Or ₹1,000 exclusive → total ₹1,180.
FAQ
What does GST-inclusive mean?
The price already contains the tax. Divide by (1 + rate/100) to get the base. For ₹1,180 at 18%, base = ₹1,000, GST = ₹180.
How do I switch between inclusive and exclusive?
Use the mode selector — inclusive extracts GST from a total, exclusive adds GST to a base amount.
