How to make a vehicle repair bill

  1. Enter your garage name and the vehicle number (bill no. field or notes).
  2. Add a labour line (unit "job" or "hour") with the charge.
  3. Add each spare part on its own line with quantity and rate.
  4. Leave GST off if unregistered, or tick to turn it on.
  5. Click Download PDF or Print, and add a UPI ID for a pay QR.

Labour and parts

Showing labour and parts separately makes the bill transparent and helps warranty and insurance claims. If you are GST-registered, repair and servicing labour is generally taxed at 18%, while spare parts carry their own rates — set each line accordingly. Small garages below the registration threshold can issue a simple non-GST bill.

FAQ

How do I make a garage or vehicle repair bill?

Add a labour line and separate part lines; the total builds automatically. Then Download PDF or Print — free, no login.

Can I split labour and parts?

Yes. One line for labour and separate lines for each spare part.

Where do I put the vehicle number?

In the bill number field or the notes so it prints on the bill.

Do garages charge GST?

Registered garages charge GST (labour commonly 18%, parts at their rates). The tool defaults to non-GST for small garages.
